Johnny Carson Park, a popular 17-acre regional park in Burbank, is named after the iconic television host and comedian Johnny Carson. The park offers a variety of amenities, including nature education areas with interpretive signage, viewing decks, an ADA-accessible bridge, exercise equipment, trails with benches, a natural creek, sustainable features, playgrounds, picnic areas, and an informal concrete stage pad for events and performances. With its scenic views and central location, the park serves as a community hub for events and activities throughout the year, attracting families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Johnny Carson Park, located at 400 Bob Hope Drive, Burbank, CA 91505, sits near the intersection of Bob Hope Drive and Riverside Drive, just north of the 134 Freeway. The park is easily accessible by vehicle and offers street parking for visitors. The existing concrete stage pad, measuring approximately 1,152 square feet, features direct rough-in power and has the potential to host musical, dance, exercise, and other activities for community groups. To fully realize this potential, the stage requires a robust and creative shade structure.
