The Town of Smithfield Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the resurfacing and converting of two tennis courts into six permanent pickleball courts. The project will involve the removal of existing tennis courts lines, posts and nets; resurfacing of the courts; installation of new pickleball court posts, nets and lines, to meet the standards of USA Pickleball. Scope of Work: o Removal of existing tennis court posts and nets o Repair and resurfacing of the courts to meet USA Pickleball Standards o Installation of new pickleball court lines o Installation of new pickleball nets and posts o Construction of new fencing to separate the courts Proposal Requirements: o Detailed description of the proposed work o Timeline (length of time for construction) for completion of the project o Itemized cost for the completion of the project, including all materials and labor o Qualifications and experience of the firm and its personnel o References from previous client The Town of Smithfield reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposals received.
