Project was awarded to IEI General Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $4,245,852.50. The work for which bids are asked generally includes the following: CONTRACT A - GENERAL SITE & BUILDING CONSTRUCTION 1. Site and building redevelopment for construction of a full synthetic baseball field with work including, but not limited to; two-story 1,587 square foot concession/restroom/scorer's booth building, masonry, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, site & building demolition, stripping and placing topsoil, common excavation, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and flatwork, dense graded base, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water service, synthetic turf base materials, athletic equipment, erosion control, fencing, light poles, storm water management pond, and site restoration. 2. Alternate Bids as represented in the Contract Documents. 3. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTORS bid. CONTRACT A, ALTERNATE A1 - SOFTBALL FIELD 1. Construct a full synthetic turf softball field including demolition, stripping and placing topsoil, common excavation, concrete curb and flatwork, dense graded base, synthetic turf base materials, fencing, dugouts, athletic field lighting, utilities, athletic equipment, and site restoration. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, Alternate A2 - NETTING BACKSTOP - 42" BLACK VINYL CHAIN LINK FENCE IN LIEU OF 36" PADDED WALL WITH WINDSCREEN 1. Install 42" Black Vinyl Chain Link Fence in lieu of the base bid 36" padded wall with windscreen. Secure backstop net to chain link fence. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, Alternate A3 - CONCRETE PAVEMENT IN LIEU OF ASPHALT PATH 1. Install 5" Concrete Pavement over 6" Base Aggregate Dense in lieu of the base bid 3.5" Hot Mix Asphalt over 10" Base Aggregate Dense. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. WORK BY OTHERS Work by others or OWNER that shall be concurrent to work of this contract includes the following: 1. Contract "B" - Providing and installing synthetic turf system for stadium field will be procured under separate bidding process. Work of these contracts shall be coordinated with synthetic turf installation. 2. Contract "C" - Providing and installing bleachers will be procured under a separate bidding process. Work of these contracts shall be coordinated with bleacher installation. 3. Contract "D" - Providing and installing scoreboards will be procured under a separate bidding process. Work of these contracts shall be coordinated with the scoreboard construction. 4. A separate project will be constructed near the football stadium between June and August. This work will include a new drive, parking, ticket booth, concrete plaza, site electrical, and storm sewer. Coordinate work of these contracts with utility service and upgrades. 5. Coordinate work of these Contracts with all work by OWNER and others.
