Site work for a water / sewer project in Indio, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The improvements include constructing an underground storm drain system and implementing and above ground Green Streets design by constructing rain gardens, installing approximately 187 trees, and a drainage swale along Marshall Parkway. The work will include installing drywells and underground retention system along Oasis Street between Miles Avenue and Highway 111; Smurr Street between Miles Avenue and Requa Avenue; Requa Avenue between Oasis Street and Jackson Street; and along Jackson Street between Civic Center Drive and Highway 111. Project is included in the City of Indio's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of June 13, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated in 2023.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
