Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
A new steel framed facility of +- 43,000 SF consisting of entry lobby with concessions and toilet rooms, a 200' x 85' Sheet of Ice, Four Varsity Locker Rooms, Four Changing Rooms, Bleachers for 200 people, Ice Making, Mechanical and Electrical Rooms. There is an existing rink that will be demolished this Summer with work on the new rink starting late Summer 2023, and the rink becoming operational in November 2024. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. This is the first step of a multi step process. This is to submit qualifications for consideration to become a Construction Manager at Risk for the Belmont Rink Project. Once the qualifications are reviewed and evaluated, a Request for Proposal will then be sent to those firms that are Pre qualified. Estimated Cost $22,600,000.
