e City of Rancho Cucamonga ("City") will receive sealed bids for the materials, supplies, equipment and or services set forth herein, subject to all conditions outlined in the Bid Package, Plans and Specifications. 1. PROJECT Description of Work: Banyan Street Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation Project, from Haven Avenue to Rochester Avenue The scope of work to be performed consists of, but not limited to, PCC access curb ramps, 6 AC pavement, asphalt cold milling, asphalt rubber hot mix overlay, video detection, adjusting existing manholes, water valves to new grade, pavement markers, signing and thermoplastic striping, green thermoplastic bike lane, and other items of work as shown on the plans. Engineer's Estimate is $1,900,000. total of 60 working days to complete the project. 4. CONTRACTOR LICENSE: In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, the City has determined that Contractor shall possess any and all contractors licenses, in form and class as required by any and all applicable laws with respect to any and all of the work to be performed under this contract including, a ClassA (General Engineering Contractor) or Class C12 (Earthwork and Paving Contractor) in accordance with the provisions of the Contractor's License Law (California Business and Professions Code, Section 7000 et. seq.). Contractor shall also employ at least one technician who shall be involved in the performance of all detection work certified as an International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal Senior Field Technician Level III. 5. PREVAILING WAGES: In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, et seq., of the Labor Code, the Director of the Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to the work to be done. The Contractor will be required to pay to all persons employed on the project by the Contractor sums not less than the sums set forth in the documents entitled "General Prevailing Wage Determination made by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to California Labor Code, Part 7, Chapter 1, Article 2, Sections 1770, 1773, 1773.1. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the form and amount specified in Public Contract Code Sections 20170 and 20171. See Bid Package for details. 7. PAYMENT BOND and Completion Bond: A Payment Bond and a Completion Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, will be required of the Contractor. 8.
