The District of Highlands, as part of this Invitation, have four other culvert locations for removal / replacement for which there is no Engineering. Culvert #3 (Two culverts): Location: 747 Finlayson Arm Road. 1st Culvert Remove existing 300mm x 12 m CSP Culvert. Backfill and compact in lifts with MMCD acceptable subgrade and base course. Repave with 50mm thickness of Hot Mix Asphalt. 2nd Culvert Remove existing 300mm CSP culvert and replace with 13 metre length of dual walled HDPE pipe in same alignment. Repave with 50mm thickness of Hot Mix Asphalt. Dispose of waste culvert and excavated material. Install new Rock Mortar headwall / end wall at both inlet and outlet. Water course flows to downstream fish habitat - Environmental Protection measures apply. Culvert #4: Location: 767 Finlayson Arm Road (One culvert). Remove existing 300mm x 10 metre (plus / minus) length of CSP culvert. Backfill and compact in lifts with MMCD acceptable subgrade and base course. Repave with 50mm thickness of Cold Mix Asphalt. Dispose of waste Re ditch approximately 50 lineal metres of the existing ditch to allow water to flow into the culvert crossing at York Ridge. Water course flows to downstream fish habitat - Environmental Protection measures apply. Culvert #5: Location: 821 Finlayson Arm Road (One culvert) Remove the existing 300mm CSP culvert and replace it with a used 600mm diameter - 12 metre length of surplus dual walled culvert that is located at the Fire Hall on Millstream Road. Repave with 50mm thickness of Cold Mix Asphalt. Dispose of waste Install new Rock Mortar headwall / end wall at both inlet and outlet. Water course flows to downstream fish habitat - Environmental Protection measures apply. Culvert #6: Location: 867 Finlayson Arm Road. Replace existing 600mm CSP culvert with 12 metre length of 600mm dual walled HDPE pipe in same alignment. Repave with 50mm thickness of Cold Mix Asphalt.
