Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Nenana, Alaska. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,800-square-foot transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Construction Range: $1,000,000 - $2,500,000. The Work consists of constructing a hangar that is approximately 4,800 square feet to support the UAF Alaska Center for Unmanned Aircraft System Integration (ACUASI) program, complete with site work, utilities, and a completely functional building. Additive alternate work includes paving the vehicle parking area and all associated work. Bidders are advised that the University of Alaska has a procedure for accepting alternate products or systems prior to bid opening. Acceptance of substitutions after award is limited. Funding for this project is available Bid security is required to be submitted with each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. State law requires a bid to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Alaska Bidder after bidders preferences and Alaska Products Preferences have been applied. Further instructions are contained within the Instructions to Bidders. The University of Alaska reserves the right to reject any or all bids, offers, or parts thereof it deems necessary, to waive any informality in the bid or offer received, and to award in the best interest of the University.
