Site work and renovation of a civil project in Kenansville, North Carolina. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of February 14, 2025, a design firm has been selected. TOWN OF KENANSVILLE REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING REPORT, DESIGN AND BID PACKAGE, AND INSPECTION SERVICES The Town of Kenansville has received a Community Development Block Grant-Infrastructure (CDBG-I) award in the amount of $2,000,000 by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) for the rehabilitation of one lift station (150 gpm Church St Lift Station) including piping, motors, controls, wiring, generator, and associated appurtenances and to remove and replace approximately 4,400 LF of 8 gravity sewer piping and associated appurtenances with new pipe of comparable size/capacity. All replacements will be like for like with no increase in capacity. The proposed project will be in the areas of N Church St, Seminary St, Belle Pearsall Ln, Middleton St, Sycamore St, and Moore St. The project has a timeframe of 3 years. The Town of Kenansville is soliciting qualifications for professional engineering services to assist The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
