The Township of Old Bridge is seeking proposals for the supply, delivery and installation of the proposed Modular Safety Surface and all required accessories in the areas mentioned. Installation is to include the preparation of existing surface consistent with manufacturer's specifications prior to placement of new surface. This is to include: o Existing sub-surface to be scraped clear of loose debris o Areas of old patched surface to be cleaned, removed and prepared for new patching o Sub-surface must be repaired to create level surface necessary for correct installation of top layer modular playing surface It should be noted that during the construction, other areas of both Cliffwood Beach Park and Geick Park will be accessible to the Public. The project area must be restricted by a temporary 6', non-climbable chain link fence. Should additional working days be required, the Contractor is permitted to work on Saturday and Sunday, by providing advance notice of at least three (3) business days, to the Recreation Director or his designee. No additional compensation will be made to the contractor for weekend work. The Contractor shall supply the following MateFlex - HomeCourt Tile, or approved equal Modular playing surface, with a minimum 10- year limited manufacturer's warranty and numerate the cost as itemized. The Project Total cost should include all labor necessary for the contractor to properly supply and install the surfacing product. Modular playing surface shall be High Performance Safety surface designed for multisport play and meet the following specifications: o Material: All models shall be made from an engineering grade virgin copolymer Polypropylene with incorporated stabilizers, ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidants and color pigments. The material shall be designed to provide high color integrity, excellent weatherability and good traction, resiliency and durability for normal play.
