Parking lot improvements, including driveway, sidewalk, curb, gutter, pavements, chain-link fence installation, etc. The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all plant, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles, and for furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Specifications, Drawings, schedules, and other Contract Documents, as herein before defined, all of which are made a part hereof, and including such detail sketches as may be furnished by the Engineer from time to time during construction in explanation of said Drawings. The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly called for in the Specifications or not shown on the Drawings, which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the work, in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the city. The Contractor shall check all dimensions and quantities on the Drawings or schedules herein contained or given by the Engineer, and shall notify the Engineer of all errors therein which may be discovered by examining and checking the Drawings. The Contractor shall not take advantage of any error or omission in these Specifications, or in the Drawings or schedules, but should such error or omission be discovered, the Contractor shall obtain instructions from the Engineer and the Contractor shall carry out such instructions as if originally specified Bidders are expected to visit the site to form their own conclusions as to the character of the work under this section.
