The estimated construction budget for this project is: $2,125,000 The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. The Parkway School District is endeavoring to design and install playground improvements at five school sites within the District by the end of 2023. The improvements are designed to improve the quantity and quality of play while also improving the safety and accessibility qualities of the play equipment and playground surfacing. The improvements at each school site will include removal of existing playground equipment and replacement with new equipment that will be standard across the five school sites. Existing wood fiber playground surfacing at each school site will be removed and transported to a stockpile location to be determined at Fern Ridge High School. The playground areas will be surveyed and replaced with an ADA accessible rubberized play surface system. The improvements will be applied to the primary age 2 to 5 and age 5 to 12 playgrounds at each school. Each new age 2-5 playground will cover approximately 2000 square feet. Each new age 5-12 playground will cover approximately 6000 square feet Contractor shall post in a prominent and easily accessible place at the Project Site during the full time that any worker shall be employed on the Project a clearly legible statement of all prevailing hourly wage rates to be paid to all workers employed in order to execute the Contract and perform the Work. As of September 5, 2023, a design team has been identified.
