Site work and paving for a road / highway in Southbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Southbury is seeking qualified Contractors for bituminous concrete milling and paving on various roads and streets. The Town of Southbury reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informality in bidding if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town of Southbury. The Town of Southbury is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer. Requests for Information (RFIs) concerning the project should be emailed to Matthew Tarnowski, Public Works Project Administrator, at MTarnowski@southbury-ct.gov. RFIs should be received by June 2, 2023. RFIs may not be directly responded to. If necessary, an addendum containing RFI responses will be posted to the Town of Southbury's website at the link above by June 7, 2023. The work to be completed under this bid shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, mobilization and demobilization, milling and collecting existing pavement, removal and disposal of millings, transportation, placement, and compaction of new bituminous concrete pavement, and miscellaneous associated work. It is intended that this project be completed as directed by the Director of Public Works or his designee in accordance with the unit prices bid
