Renovation of a medical facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

**As of July 19, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Renovate employee breakrooms 1400, 3W, 3S, 2W and 2S and restroom in 1400 to include new flooring, patch and paint walls, doors and frames, replace ceiling acoustical tiles with new, new light fixtures and new breakroom furniture to include cabinetry, tables and chairs. All questions/requests for clarification related to this Bid must be received in writing by John. Goodnow(ãumcsn.com) no later than 2:00:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023. SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (SBE): An independent and continuing business for profit which performs a commercially useful function, is not owned and controlled by individuals designated as minority, women, or physically challenged, and where gross annual sales does not exceed $2,000,000. v. VETERAN OWNED ENTERPRISE (VET): A Nevada business at least 51% owned/controlled by a veteran. vi. DISABLED VETERAN OWNED ENTERPRISE (DVET): A Nevada business at least 51% owned/controlled by a disabled veteran. vii. EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS (ESB): Certified by the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development effective January, 2014. Approved into Nevada Law during the 77 th Legislative session as a result of AB294. Addenda and Interpretations 1. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this Bid, a written Addendum will be provided to all known Planholders. OWNER is not bound by any oral representations, clarifications, or changes made to the written specifications by OWNER'S employees, unless such clarification or change is provided to Planholders in written or electronic Addendum form from the Contracts Management Department. 2. BIDDERS shall take no advantage of any apparent error or omission in the Bid Documents. In the event the BIDDERS discover such an error or omission, they shall immediately notify OWNER. OWNER will then make such corrections and interpretations as may be deemed necessary for fulfilling the intent of the Bid Documents through the issuance of an Addendum. 3. Addenda shall be sent via NGEM to all prospective Bidders and will also be made available for pick up to all known Planholders. 4. Copies of Bid Documents, including any Addenda, will be made available for inspection at OWNER's Contracts Management office. 5. Bidders shall verify receipt of all addenda issued by OWNER prior to submission of their Bid SCOPE OF LOCATION: The project sites of the employee breakrooms and restrooms 2W, 2S, 3W, 3S and 1400 are located at UMC Hospital, Las Vegas, Nevada. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: Renovation and upgrade of UMC Employee Breakrooms/Restrooms 2W, 2S, 3W, 3S and 1400 to include new flooring, patch and paint of walls, paint doors and frames, replace acoustical ceiling tiles for new, new LED light fixtures. Renovation project is to provide UMC employees a comforting space to enjoy breaks during their shift. NOTE: Breakroom 2S is located on a Behavioral Unit. Contractors shall be familiar with protocols/procedures and standard practices. This project will be a (5) phased project. Starting and ending with the following: (See floorplans) Phase 1: 2W Breakroom & Restroom Phase 2: 2S Breakroom Phase 3: 3W Breakroom & Restroom Phase 4: 3S Breakroom Phase 5 (A, B & C): 1400. NOTE: Breakroom 1400 is a larger footprint which includes a (1) shared breakroom, separate Men's locker room & restroom and a separate Women's locker room and restroom. See floorplans attached. All interior work shall be in accordance with what is specified in UMCs Comprehensive Interior Design (CID) Standards.
