Village of Gibsonburg, Ohio Yeasting and Rodriquez Street Water and Sewer Improvements Village of Gibsonburg, Ohio (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Yeasting and Rodriquez Street Water and Sewer Improvements Kleinfelder Project No. 20230859 The Project includes the following Work: Installation of fifteen (15) residential septic tanks, gravity sanitary sewers including manholes and a submersible pump station. Additionally, the project will include the installation of approximately 1,400 LF of 6-inch watermain and associated appurtenances and pavement resurfacing. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Failure to submit a complete set of documents could result in a bid that is determined to be nonresponsive and rejected by the Owner. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. The cost of printing is to be paid to the printing company at the time the drawings are picked up. Shipping and tax charges are the bidder's responsibility and payable directly to Becker Impressions. Bid Guaranty The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the Village of Gibsonburg, Ohio, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. After the award of the contract let by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Sandusky County, Ohio. The Village of Gibsonburg reserves the right pursuant to ORC.9.312 to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-material irregularity in determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder will be required to pay State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $725,000.
