The City of Surrey (the "Owner") invites Tenders from accredited roofing contractors, Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia (RCABC) for roof replacement of Guildford Recreation Centre, located at 15105 105 Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia. The Work is to generally include but not limited to: A. Removal and disposal of upper barrel roof existing roofing membrane, insulation and existing gypsum sheathing. Installation of new fiberglass faced exterior roofing gypsum, adhered vapour barrier, 2 layers insulation, protection board and 2 plies SBS waterproofing membrane. B. Separate Price #1 - Removal and disposal of lower flat roofs existing roofing membrane, insulation and existing gypsum sheathing. Installation of new fiberglass faced exterior roofing gypsum, adhered vapour barrier, sloped insulation where indicated, 2 layers insulation, protection board and 2 plies SBS waterproofing membrane. Include RCABC 10-year guarantee as base price for this separate price. C. Removal and disposal of parapet and other curb flashing. Install new parapet and curb flashing as required. D. Remove existing stack flashings and install new stack flashings at all penetrations as per RCABC requirements. E. Remove mechanical systems, modify curbs as required, renew waterproofing at mechanical curbs and reinstall mechanical units. Provide engineered curb design and mechanical unit attachment. F. Provide RCABC ten (10) year guarantee and Separate Price #2 for fifteen (15) year guarantee. Include any material upgrade requirements based on RGC. G. Remove, disconnect and reinstall roof top equipment to facilitate the new roof assembly requirements as required. Coordination with facility operator required. H. Install new snow guard as indicated on the drawings. Install watertight detailing at guard penetrations (new and existing) as required. I. Install new fall protection anchors as indicated on the drawings. Install watertight detailing at all fall protection anchors. Provide structural engineering signoff as required. J.
