Site work for a water / sewer project in Weir, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
194 linear feet of 4" PVC water main, 76 linear feet of steel casing (bore and jack), necessary valves, fittings, and connections. The Owner (Town of Weir, MS) reserves the right to increase, decrease, or delete any pay item to as required to construct the project or to stay within the project budget. Contract Time for each part (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) of the project is thirty-five (35) Working Days with a liquidated damages provision of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per Working Day thereafter. The Awards, if made, will be made to the lowest and best qualified bidder on the basis of the published quantities. A certified check or Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid, made payable to the Town of Weir, must accompany each Bid proposal. The Successful Bidder must provide both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond (each in the amount of one hundred percent [100%] of the Contract) upon execution of the Contract. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within Sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Within the limitations of the state law, the Town of Weir reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid that is deemed most favorable to the Town of Weir.
