Dakota County plans to restore and enhance approximately 145 acres of cropped fields and degraded floodplain, wetland and terrace forest habitat within Lake Byllesby Regional Park in southeastern Dakota County. The proposed project area is adjacent to the Cannon River and includes areas surrounding oxbow wetlands that contain sensitive rare species. Historically, much of the upland tracts consisted of prairie (Native Plant Community classes UPs13 & UPs23) and oak savanna (UPs14 & UPs24) in flat regions, while slopes consisted of terrace forests (FFs59) grading to floodplain forests (FFs68) and oxbow wetlands on the river bottoms and islands The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding or bids received, and accept any Alternate Bids (if applicable) in any order, number, or combination between the same or different bidders, together or separate from any Base Bid.
