It is important to have your name added in case an Addendum is issued for the project. Each proposal shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a certified check, Cashier's check, Money Order, or Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, and drawn payable to the TOWNSHIP of GROSSE ILE in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid, as security for the proper execution of the Contract. Surety Company shall be licensed to conduct business in the State of Michigan. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate Performance, Labor and Material, and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the date set for receipt, during which time all bids shall remain in full force and effect. Proposals submitted after the exact time specified for receipt shall not be considered, and proposals submitted by telephone, facsimile, or e-mail shall not be accepted. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason at all, to waive any informality/technicality in bids received, and to award the contract to any bidder, when such waiver is deemed to best serve the interest of the OWNER.
