Plans call for improvements to the Bill Wagner Campground. Improvements are to include: 1. Three (3) new tent sites, one to be (1) ADA Compliant 2. New bath facility with 3 single-use restrooms, one (1) of which is ADA compliant 3. 2 outdoor shower/changing spaces, one (1) of which is ADA Compliant 4. New septic system for bath facility 5. New well for bath facility and potable water 6. Eight (8) alcove tent decks 7. New 24’x48’ pole barn 8. ADA-compliant path from parking to beach 9. Grading and gravel paving at roads and parking areas 10. Site clearing of new and existing facilities, including tree removal 11. Supply facility and pole barn with electricity service Per the owner, as of June 8, 2023, they have selected Justin Haley from Minnesota for the design of this project. The owner states that they hope to receive a grant at the September 2023 in order for the project to advertise for bids and start construction. If a grant is received, contractor procurement is anticipated in January 2024. Construction is anticipated to begin by March 4, 2024 and is anticipated to be completed by May 15, 2025.
