Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of drainage improvements, sidewalk reconstruction, driveway blending, roadway reclamation and paving, including all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete the Work. The estimated project cost is approximately $1,300,000,00. Bid Security shall be at least five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, considering all alternates. The Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond shall be: Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the City Engineer. The City Engineer will answer such requests if received no later than five (5) business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays, before the date for receipt of the bids. Every request for such interpretation shall be made in writing addressed to City Engineer-Contract ED 2023-11 Project: Reconstruction of Various Streets and Appurtenant Work, City of Marlborough, Department of Public Works, Engineering Division, 135 Neil Street, Marlborough, MA 01752 or emailed to mdascoli@marlboroughma.gov.
