As of September 1, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Work generally consists of the installation of approximately 530 linear feet of 30-inch storm sewer piping including associated inlets, excavation and backfill, connection to existing concrete channel, pavement restoration, curb & sidewalk restoration, and other related site work. Each Bid shall also be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid total. Instruction on how to submit Bid Bond or other acceptable form of bid security are provided in the Instruction to Bidders contained in the Project Manual. The Successful Bidder shall be required to provide a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of the contract price prior to the Contract Award. Successful Bidder shall also be required to submit prior to Contract Award an Act 127 Public Works Employment Verification Form verifying that all employees performing work on Project are authorized to work in the United States. Annville Township reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any Bid or combination of Bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Township, and to reject any or all proposals. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
