Renovation of a transportation facility in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Working plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
As of August 1, 2024 bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. No definite date for rebid. The proposed project includes the three project components: (1) the relocation and installation of the AvGas self-fuel pump and associated equipment to the existing aviation fuel facility; (2) the new construction of asphalt pavement to expand the existing terminal apron to facilitate fueling activity for aircraft; and (3) the mill and overlay of the existing terminal apron asphalt surface. The City of Truth or Consequences, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn prior to October 15, 2024. Questions shall be submitted no later than five (5) business/working days before bid opening. Submit Questions to : ATTN: Cheryl A.
