**As of June 16, 2023, this project has been awarded to Gunther Construction in the amount of $48,444.45. The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for the removal and replacement of a partial driveway located at Central Fire Station for the City of Galesburg. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. Work on this project shall consist of removing the existing driveway pavement and replacing it with new geotextile fabric for ground stabilization, aggregate base course type B 8", and portland cement concrete driveway pavement, 10".
