Site work and paving for a road / highway in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project Scope of Work: Marking where necessary, or indicated by the Engineer, the limits of removal; the locations of pavement lines; arrows; sharrows; and legends throughout the City of Springfield. Estimated total project cost is $350,000.00. The initial term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length, and the City will retain Two (2) one-year renewal options. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) minority and women participation in all contracts. All questions no later than May 24, 2023 by 4:00 P.M. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so Removal of Approximately: 420 SF of Pavement Marking Removal, Painting of Approximately: 76,000 LF of 4" Reflectorized White Lines (Painted), 42,000 LF of 4" Reflectorized White Lines (Hand-Painted), 182,000 LF of 12" Reflectorized White Lines (Handwork-Painted), 772,000 LF of 4" Reflectorized Yellow Lines (Painted), 17,000 LF of 4" Reflectorized Yellow Lines (Hand-Painted) and 21,000 SF of Pavement Arrows and Legend Reflectorized White (Painted) markings throughout the City of Springfield.
