The Project scope will include but not be limited to design and construction of deck rehabilitation or replacement, superstructure rehabilitation or replacement, substructure rehabilitation and full bridge replacement. Other major project elements include paving, roadway drainage, guiderail and median barrier transitions and replacement, highway design and construction, traffic engineering and work zone traffic control, illumination, and Incident Management Systems (IMS) replacement or preservation, railroad and utility coordination, and contractor quality control. CTDOT shortlisted the teams of: Manafort-Brunalli Joint Venture / Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Mohawk Northeast / GM2 Associates, and O&G Industries / WSP USA. The Public Bid Opening is anticipated for May 2024.
