Sealed bids will be received by the Gallia County Commissioners for the furnishing of all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for the Schedule 3 - Building Construction of the Construct Terminal Building project, at the Gallia-Meigs Regional Airport (GAS), in accordance with the plans and specifications. The successful bidder must comply with requirements set out in the contract documents including all Federally Required Contract Provisions including but not limited to the Buy American Preference, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Davis Bacon Requirements, Affirmative Action Requirements, Government wide Debarment and Suspension, Government wide Requirements for a Drug-free Workplace, and Non-Segregated Facilities Requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check, or a bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total amount bid, made payable to the Gallia County Commissioners as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Gallia County Commissioners within fifteen (15) days and its performance secured by a payment and performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price and, in default thereof, said check or bond will be forfeited to the Gallia County Commissioners as liquidated damages. The successful bidder shall commence work with adequate force and equipment on a date to be specified in a written order of the Owner and shall complete work within the time prescribed in the contract documents. No bidder may withdraw their bid prior to ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
