The County reserves the right to go to the Board of Supervisors for a determination that the Contractor is non-responsible and will be ineligible to compete on future County contracts for a stated period of time or until the Contractor can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works that the violation has been corrected. The contractor for this project must possess a Class A or C-12 license at the time this contract is awarded and throughout the construction contract duration. Contractor must also be properly licensed at the time the bid is submitted, except as provided for in Section 7029.1 of the Business and Profession Code for joint ventures or by Section 20103.5 of the Public Contract Code for federally-funded projects. This project is subject to all Local, State, and Federal laws, rules and guidelines contained in the plans and specifications, including but not limited to payment of prevailing wages. These wage rates are available at the Alameda County Public Works Agency's office at 951 Turner Court, Room 300, Hayward, Alameda County. The work to be done consists, in general, of providing and implementing water pollution control plan and job site management; clearing and grubbing; tree removal; providing construction fencing; providing tree protection; removal and disposal of concrete outlet; providing trench and excavation protection; earthwork involving excavation, filling, compacting fill, off-haul of excess material; designing and implementing de-watering system and temporary channel bypass; modifying existing outfalls; furnishing, placing and compacting rock slope protection; furnishing, placing, and compacting vegetated soil lifts; furnishing and placing rock riffles and pools; installing chain-link fencing and gates; furnishing, placing and compacting Class 2 aggregate base; furnishing and planting trees and native vegetation; providing plant establishment and maintenance; furnishing and installing temporary irrigation; and all miscellaneous work necessary to complete said project Estimated Cost: $2,200,000.
