Replacement of 23 ladders in 18 pump stations and structures located along the flood wall in the City of St. Louis. Major items included in the Project include the following: 1. Contractor shall bear the responsibility for delivery of equipment, spare parts, special tools, and materials to the site and shall comply with the requirements specified herein and shall provide required information concerning the shipment and delivery of the materials specified in this Contract. These requirements also apply to any sub-suppliers making direct shipments to the jobsite. B. Contractor shall, either directly or through contractual arrangements with others, accept responsibility for the safe handling and protection of the equipment and materials furnished under this Contract before and after receipt at the port of entry.
