This Invitation to Tender (the "RFT") is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara ("Niagara Region") to prospective bidders to submit bids Question Deadline: Tue Jun 13, 2023 12:00:00 PM (EDT) as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). Niagara Region is responsible for the provision of waste disposal and recycling facilities for municipal solid waste generated by residents, contractors, and small businesses located within Niagara region. This Tender provides for the supply of all labour, material, and equipment necessary to carry out Leaf and Yard Waste Composting, as well as, Waste and Recycling Drop-Off Depot Operations at the Bridge Street Waste and Recycling Drop-Off Depot in Fort Erie, referred to as the "Site", in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Tender. The Bridge Street Waste and Recycling Drop-Off Depot Site is located at 1300 Bridge Street Road in the City of Fort Erie. The landfill portion of the site had been in operation since 1972 and closed in 2016. The Bridge Street Waste and Recycling Drop-Off Depot provides for the disposal of domestic, commercial, and non-hazardous, solid industrial waste under Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) under Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) number A120501. The MECP approval provides a comprehensive list of conditions that Niagara Region has to comply with when operating, maintaining and monitoring the site.
