DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: 6,500 lin. ft. CIPP sanitary sewer lining - 8, 10, 12 and 15 diameters 80 each CIPP T-liner (2') 2,600 CIPPLL lateral liner 78 each sanitary sewer cleanout assemblies 155 vertical lin. ft. manhole rehabilitation 8 each invert repair Miscellaneous work related to CIPP, CIPPLL, and manhole rehabilitation, including: traffic control, temporary sewer bypass, cleaning/televising sanitary sewer, trim protruding tap, reinstate sanitary sewer service, seal joints in manhole, internal chimney seals, pipe penetration seal Surface restoration items, including: turf restoration, aggregate surface restoration, bituminous driveway pavement restoration, concrete sidewalk/driveway restoration together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Provisions, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification. A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Madison shall accompany each bid. COMPLETION OF WORK: The project must be substantially complete by December 1, 2023. All work under the Contract must be complete by July 1, 2024. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
