SUNY ESF is in the process of procuring furniture for our newly renovated Marshall Hall, which is expected to be fully occupied for the Fall Semester. This portion of the furniture procurement for Marshall Hall involves outfitting the Landscape Architecture studios with special Teknion, LLC systems furniture and pedestal items that SUNY ESF determined were not found on the NYS OGS Teknion, LLC contract. This determination was made after SUNY ESF had followed the suggested NYS OGS furniture procurement award process and made an award to the lowest bidder. SUNY ESF is on an extremely tight schedule to procure the furniture in time for students to arrive in mid-August. The lead time for the Teknion furniture is 8 weeks and the additional 15 days required to advertise would have set us back even further from being able to meet this already tight deadline. For this reason, SUNY ESF received approval from OSC for a Contract Reporter Exemption Request that is the result of an unforeseen procurement development circumstance. Contract term: 5/19/2023 - 3/31/2024
