The City of Clinton is accepting sealed bids for resurfacing tennis courts at the Clinton YMCA in accordance with specifications. The City of Clinton is located at the intersections of I-26 and I-385 in the upstate of South Carolina. The city has a population of approximately 9,000 and is home to a four year liberal arts college, significant industry, and beautiful neighborhoods. Written questions concerning this request should be addressed to Mr. Harold Nichols at the address referenced above or via email to hnichols@clintonymca.org The Contractor will resurface the tennis courts in accordance with the following steps. 1) Pressure wash any mildew or mold areas that are on the surface of courts. 2) Fill all cracks with a crack fill used specifically for tennis courts (no warranty). 3) Level any low spots on the tennis courts also referred to as (bird baths) this is areas on the Tennis court where the water sits and doesn't dry. 4) Furnish and apply two (2) coats of black acrylic resurface coating with an acrylic concentrate. 5) Furnish and apply two (2) coats of color resurface two (2) coats in the center and two (2) coats around the perimeter of the tennis courts center. 6) Coat to insure uniformity of all-weather tennis courts surface. 7) The court will be lined with a primer to avoid any paint from lifting and then white acrylic line paint, Textured to match court surface also referred to as (stripping), will be applied on the court. Also, add Quick start lines. 8) Remove the base of the net posts, dig, and level and install new net post with new net.
