Salt Storage Building Project Location: The Monroe County Highway Department Sparta Corporation Yard is located at 3110 East Wisconsin Street (State Highway 16) Sparta, Wisconsin 54656. The proposal shall include all costs to fully design, provide, supply, furnish, deliver, install, erect and construct one (1) 6500-ton capacity Salt Storage Building, complete with all advertised and standard attributes, in accordance with these provisions and the design and specifications as proposed by the Vendor, and approved by the Highway Department, at Highway Department property located at 3110 East Wisconsin Street in Sparta, Wisconsin. The design shall clearly demonstrate that the building offered can accommodate, with standard mechanical methods and effort, 6500 tons of loose, course rock salt In calculating the capacity of the building, the slope of repose for salt shall not exceed thirty-two (32) degrees, with the toe of the slope a minimum of one (1) foot below the top of the concrete wall The proposal shall include the complete design and technical specifications of the building being offered, sufficient to provide for reasonable review.
