51-22-05 Labor Commission PWP No.: CC-2023-382 Notice is hereby given that the Carson City School District (CCSD), Carson City, Nevada will receive sealed bids for the following project, identified as Carson High School Varsity Softball & Baseball Field Corrective Maintenance Project # 51-22-05. The Public Works number for this project is CC-2023-382. Carson High School Varsity Softball & Baseball Field Corrective Maintenance Project # 51-22-05 Scope of Work: In general, the project scope of work is divided between the varsity baseball field and varsity softball field. Work at the varsity baseball field includes: re-grading of the infield area (includes bases, re-building pitcher's mound, homeplate, batters box), adjustment of irrigation system, new infield fines, new infield sod, and minor drainage improvements. Work at the varsity softball field includes: re-grading of infield and warning track area (includes bases, re-building pitcher's mound, home plate, batters box), new infield fines, and adjustment/replacement of sod at the edge of the infield arc as needed to meet the grading of the infield. Add alternatives for the project include: #1. Replacement of varsity softball bullpens surface, home plate, pitchers rubber, existing fence slats & cap, and new fencing. #2. Installation of new furniture at varsity softball home and visitor's dugouts, #3 removing spoils and debris from site and hauling to the appropriate disposal area. The Construction Cost Estimate is $300,000.00. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project.A representative from each potential General Contractor must be in attendance and sign-in to be eligible to bid.Firms interested in submitting a bid in response to the Invitation to Bid must meet the requirements of NRS 338 as it relates to eligible bidders which include, but are not limited to the following requirements: be licensed as a contractor with appropriate license limit and class, be qualified to bid on public works projects (as qualified by the State of Nevada Public Works Division), have appropriate bonding limit and levels of insurance to, at a minimum, cover the total cost of construction. The right is reserved by CCSD to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid deemed best for the interest of CCSD, in accordance with NRS.
