Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Gibbons, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 1200 mm CSP culvert with a 38.7m invert length and the installation of a new 2200 mm CSP culvert with a 64.0 m invert length. The crossing is located on a local road over an unnamed tributary to the Sturgeon River in the Hu Haven subdivision. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor's convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: Traffic Accommodation Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing Fish capture and release (deletable) Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure Structural Excavation Channel Excavation CSP Supply CSP Assembly Backfill Roadway Work Supply and Placement of Class 2 Heavy Rock Riprap Supply and Installation of Rock Lined Ditch Drains (Class 1M) Beaver Dam Removal Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) Documents can be obtained from https://sturgeoncounty.bidsandtenders.ca/
