Renovation of a road / highway in Lindenhurst, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway.
The Proposed Improvement Includes: Hma Pavement milling, Aggregate Base Course Patching, Hma Pavement placement, Driveway Removal/replacement, Curb & Gutter removal/replacement, Sidewalk Removal/replacement, structure Adjustments, and Site Restoration Within The village. The Two Low Bidders Must File Within 24 Hours After The letting an "affidavit of Availability" (Form Bc 57), Induplicate, Showing All Uncompleted Contracts Awarded To them and All Low Bids Pending Award for Federal, State, county, Municipal and Private Work. One Original Shall Be filed With the Awarding Authority and One Original With The engineer. The Village of Lindenhurst Reserves the Right to Waive technicalities and to Reject Any and All Proposals for Any reason Deemed in the Best Interest of the Village. Unless All Bids Are Rejected, the Contract Award Will Be made to the Lowest Responsive Responsible Bidder. Bidders who Are Awarded a Contract Shall Be Required to Provide A labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance bond, Each in the Total Amount of the Contract Sum Upon execution of the Contract. The Successful Bidder is Required to Pay the General prevailing Wage for Work Under This Contract As ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and Shall submit Certified Payroll Records, in Compliance With The prevailing Wage Act (820 Ilcs 130) and the Requirements of the Bidding Documents.
