Each bid must be made on the Proposal Form provided in the set of specifications and must be accompanied by a bank or cashiers check or money order drawn on a solvent bank in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid or a bid bond also in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a surety bond satisfactory to said City in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid will be furnished. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to the city of Bedford Heights, Ohio.
