The purpose of this project is to construct a trail adjacent to Accotink Creek in the City of Fairfax, which will connect two adjacent trails and provide a continuous pedestrian path along the creek. This will necessitate the construction of approximately 500 linear feet of new stone dust trail facilities as described herein. A pedestrian bridge, 70 feet in length, is also proposed with this project. 6% DBE goal. VDOT pre-qualification required.
