Renovation of a mixed-use development in East Orange, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and military facility.

VA NEW JERSEY HEALTHCARE SYSTEM - EAST ORANGE FIRE PUMP REPAIR GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Background: Fire pump was identified "Out-of-Service" during inspections. Fire Pump and Pump Controller are inoperable. Building has a sprinkler pressure deficiency and the restoral of the pump system is essential to the protection of the building. 2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. Work shall include all required labor and materials to perform all repairs, testing and calibrations of the main Fire pump located in Building 7 and return to service according to NFPA, VA and Manufacturers standards. 3. Performance Period: Projected start June 16, 2023. The contractor shall complete the work required under this SOW. All work must be coordinated through the facility and will be required to be performed during normal (Monday-Friday 7:00AM- 3:30PM) unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). All off hours work will be subject to hospital operations & scheduling. All work must be completed prior to the next normal business day. The contractor shall propose a timely schedule to meet the facilities needs and requirements to be approved prior to any work commencement. Work should be completed within 30 days from contract award. Work shall commence upon awarding of contract and be completed within 30 days pending purchases of new parts and lead times for delivery. 4.
