Project Description: Base Bid: Replace existing cooling tower and install AC in gymnasium.The documents are being provided for reference purposes only. Bidders must obtain a signed and sealed hard copy set of the bidding documents, including bid form, from the offices of Hurst-Rosche, Inc. to submit a bid for this project. The Owner requires the project to be substantially complete by Aug 1, 2024. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be in the form of a certified check,cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. Bidders on construction projects in excess of $50,000 shall be certified by the Illinois State Capital Development Board and shall confirm in writing in its submitted Bid that the bidder is currently certified by the Illinois State Capital Development Board. Submit two copies of your Bid on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. Successful bidders shall be required to observe Illinois Public Act 77-1552 and the Illinois Department of Human Rights and Illinois Human Rights Commission Rules pertaining to Equal Employment Opportunity as provided for in paragraphs 2-101, et seq., Article II, Chapter 68, of the Illinois Revised Statutes; and comply with paragraph 271 of Chapter 48 of the Illinois Revised Statutes concerning the employment of citizens of the State of Illinois; and comply with Chapter 48, Sections 39s-1 through 39s-12, of the Illinois Revised Statutes, as amended, known as the Prevailing Wage Determination, as issued by the Illinois Department of Labor. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner.
