Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ravenna, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; and for paving for a fire / police facility.
As of June 30,2023 the project is awarded to Ohio Paving, awarded amount is $87,452.90. The proposed work under this Contract consists of asphalt milling and paving, full depth asphalt removal, concrete removal, and associated alternate work items. A separate alternate item involves asphalt surface patching and a 2 overlay at the Maple Grove Cemetery. The estimated cost for this project is $74,000.00 and $116,700.00 including all alternates. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety in an amount as allowed by Treasury Circular 570. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with the wage rates for Public Improvements in Portage County and in the City of Ravenna, Ohio as determined by the State Prevailing Wages for this work. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
