Outdoor lighting and renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Carrollton, Georgia. Working plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and for outdoor lighting for a fitness / recreation center.

**As of June 9, 2023 project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** 1. Remove all existing HID light bulbs (448 total) at Carroll County Recreation Complex. 2. Remove and disconnect all existing ballasts. 3. Furnish and install new LED light bulbs to service the following types of fields: a. 3 - 300 ft baseball / softball fields b. 4 - 200 ft baseball / softball fields c. 1 - 240 ft baseball / softball field d. 1 - Regulation size football field e. 1 - Regulation size football field with 8 lane track f. 2 - Multi-Purpose Fields (approx. 350 ft in length) 4. New LED bulbs must be at least 450 watt (or adequate wattage) to land between 50-30 on the footcandles scale. Security: Accompany bid with a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit to Carroll County a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount. Work shall begin within thirty (30) days of notification of acceptance, and be completed no later than 180 days from the notice to proceed date. The County reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to waive irregularities in any bid, to reject any and all, or parts of any and all, bids with or without cause, and/or to re-advertise this Invitation to Bid or postpone or cancel this Invitation to Bid. The County also reserves the right to request additional information or clarification from the bidder.
