The Project consists of an approximately 1,200 SF, single story addition to the existing DPW building. The program includes four (4) private offices, three (3) open air workspaces, an updated restroom, a new Mother's Room, new printing area, updated finishes to the existing conference room and other interior spaces. The building will consist of CMU water table with a Metal Panel Facade, concrete masonry walls and sloped steel roof framing, and metal deck roof with EPDM. The building addition interior fit out would include architectural, HVAC, plumbing and electrical work to support the above noted program (fire protection not included). Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of Five, (5) percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of Sixty, (60) days after opening of bids. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
