The City of Cambridge is soliciting proposals for contractor services to conduct work for a house with interior filth and debris. The scope of work includes removing garbage, junk, feces, and other potentially hazardous waste from inside the dwelling and attached garage, and cleaning the dwelling and its surfaces. The City is not aware of any mold that needs to be remediated, but if discovered during the clean-up process the City reserves the right to negotiate the scope and cost of remediation. Proposals should include name of company with a contact person, address, phone number, and email address. A detailed cost per hour or total job cost, number of hours to complete the job, and the number of employees that will be conducting the work must be provided along with a detailed company profile including the equipment available to accomplish the items listed in the scope of work. Please note the City of Cambridge will not provide any Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Once the contractor is selected, they must provide the City with a certificate of insurance for liability insurance in the amount of the $500,000 per individual claim and $1,500,000 for all claims arising out of the same occurrence and name the City as an additional insured. No public opening will be held for proposals submitted. All clean up and abatement of this property must be complete by July 10, 2023.
