Scope: The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, appliances, and materials and performing all operations in connection with the abandonment of two (2) existing 12-inch water mains, the installation of two (2) 12-inch ductile iron water mains, restoration of disturbed areas, and the installation of new valves, hydrants and appurtenances as shown on the drawings. B. Project Location: City of East Providence, Rhode Island. C. The Owner hereby reserves the right, at any time, or from time to time, to order additions, deletions, or revisions in the work to be authorized through a written amendment (change order), which shall be subject to the provisions in General Conditions - Article 10. The undersigned bidder, being familiar with local conditions affecting the cost of the work, hereby proposes to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and incidental items necessary to do all the work called for in the Specifications and in accordance with the Contract Documents The City of East Providence seeks sealed bids to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, appliances and materials and performing all operations in connection with the relocation of two 12-inch water mains on Pawtucket Avenue as described in the contract documents. The City reserves the right to reject any/or all companies, to waive any informality in the proposal statement and to accept the proposal of any company based on what the City deems to be in its best interest.
