Site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work is to provide contracting services to: Complete Care of Water including engineering, installation, dewatering and maintenance of cofferdams. Supply, install, maintain, and monitor bubble aeration systems to support dissolved oxygen levels and promote the health and viability of over-wintering fish populations. Temporary heating and hoarding for concrete work in the spillway structure. Complete all aspects of spillway slab overlay work including demolition, underdrainage piping modifications, joint and water-stop work, and demolition/reinstatement of chute blocks, baffle blocks, and end sill. Repair to the existing under-slab CSP outlet pipe. Complete concrete work to raise the spillway chute walls. Complete concrete repairs R1 through R17 as shown on the drawings. Complete rip rap and earthwork improvements to the spillway approach and exit channel. Apply granular material to the embankment crest to bring it back to design grade. Complete ditching and install movement monitoring pins on the hillside south of the spillway. Complete various Public Interaction Around Dams (PIAD) safety improvements - fencing, signage, bollards, etc. - around the worksite. Remove the cofferdam and return the spillway into services.
