Saving Project...

Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in Lenoir, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.

The Mechanical Contractor is the Prime coordinating contractor for this project. All work including demolition, structural reinforcing, new ceilings, lights and electrical work shall be in the Mechanical Contract. The Mechanical Contractor is therefore r esponsible for assuring that all work is complete in the time frame specified. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal. A payment & performance bond is required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and bidders, to waive informalities and to determine the low bidder in case of tie bids. For site visits, contractors shall contact Mr. Steve Soots, Maintenance Director, Caldwell County Schools, at (828) 758-7342.
