Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: Miscellaneous sewer and storm drain collection system repairs, treated effluent distribution system repairs, and on call emergency services on an as-needed basis. Work may include repair of pressurized and unpressurized pipe systems ranging in size from 8-inch to 30-Inch diameter, manhole installation and replacements, sanitary service lateral repairs and replacements, surface restoration, bypass pumping, leak detection, confined space entry, traffic control, and other associated work as outlined in the contract, plans, and specifications. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165, enacted by the Nevada Legislature by passage of Senate Bill No. 207, setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
