Opportunity Home San Antonio (Opportunity Home) and affiliates seek proposals from independent qualified, licensed, and bonded entities with demonstrated experience to conduct and provide professional engineering Physical Needs Assessment services required for all our Beacon communities as specified herein Opportunity Home is desirous of comprehensive physical needs assessment that results in an electronic and physical report with sufficient detail, supporting information and expert insights that the organization can immediately prioritize projects for renovation and replacement. Opportunity Home expects that the report will be on Beacon Communities and affordable communities and/or buildings. And that the report will provide an evaluation of the remaining useful life of all building interiors, building exteriors, site and underground infrastructure, building code and accessibility compliance, major systems, livability, street and landscape improvements, and security lighting. The report will include an evaluation of current energy sources and recommendations for reducing energy usage through more efficient systems. The report will contain cost estimating and recommendations for improvement by property, in order of priority.
